Lauryn Jane was born May 26th 4 yrs ago. She has been such a joy to have in our home. She is always coming up with the funniest thoughts and ideas. Like today I was bathing Macie and she was playing "Robin Hood" with all the bottles or shampoo, conditioner, and baby wash. Johnson and Johnson bottles turned into Robin, Maid Marian, and Little John. She has always so amazing at imaginative play.
Another funny thing she says is "lick water". The other day her finger hurt and when I asked her about it she said "I put my lick water (spit) on it and it still hurts."
She loves all things girly like; princesses, Dora, and Tinker Bell but this year she wanted to have a Dinosaur themed birthday party. She knows more dinosaur names than Steve and I. When we go to the library all she wants is dinosaur books. We will get a few and I will ask her if she wants to look at any others and she says no! It makes for a quick trip.
With 3 girls I will probably not have many birthdays like this one. It was so fun to see her so excited about all things Dinosaur!

Macie is now 4 weeks old! She is so big, 11 lbs by now I am sure. She is a good sleeper at night but I am frustrated with her little cat naps in the day. I suppose I should be happy that I am getting night time sleep.
We blessed her last Sunday. It was a bitter-sweet day. This was the first time we have blessed one of our children with no family there. It crossed my mind a few times before Sunday but once we got to church a friend of mine said something and I kinda lost it! I like Texas and we have made so so many life long friends but we sure do miss our family and the mountains of Utah and Wyoming.
Just the other day we were talking with Autam and Lauryn about a family vacation we are planning in October to Disney. We asked them "Would you two rather go to Disneyworld or go see Grandma and Grandpa?". Guess what they said? Yep! Grandma and Grandpa's. A lot cheaper that is for sure. Maybe we will be able to both this year.
Here are some pics of the blessing and other things that have been going on here.
Lauryn has been learning how to ride her bike with training wheels!

A baby shower
I am probably the last person on earth who needed a baby shower, having my 3rd girl and all but one on my counselors in YW had one for me! We have a tradition in our ward that when ever anyone has a baby, no matter what # it is, there is a baby shower! That is fine with me. Most of the sisters donated $$ for a dresser/changing table that I needed. I have never had one and it has never been a problem, but our home has mostly hard wood floors and we just got new furniture so I thought it might be time to actually have a designated place to change the poopy pants!
I went to the doctor yesterday for the first of the weekly appts now. I am dilated to a 1.....really, was that check necessary. I am getting the feeling that this little girl is comfy where she is at and she is laughing at my due date of April 4th. Autam was the same way almost 2 weeeks late and that was only because I was induced!!
So for now I am doing I guess what could be called nesting. Really all I have done is go through ALL of our clothes and get rid of what is ugly, does not fit, and put away things that don't fit but that will fit later. One thing that I have discovered as I have heard stories of other women nesting like crazy is my house really is not that dirty or unorganized! (Pat on the back) Yes, it is cluttered, there is a small pile of laundry, the dishes could be done, and there is the exceptional closet or two that could be reorganized but really isn't that the stuff that never goes away. All in all things are looking pretty good. I am hoping that the fridge and freezer get cleaned before baby gets here.
Here are a few pics of the baby shower
Autam also had a composition recital. That is where they make up their own songs to play. There was a little communication problems with her teacher and I didn't realize it was so soon. Anyways, I did not have a chance to help her at all and was a little upset about that but on the other hand, it was all hers she had no help to put it together. It was a little short and simple but it was a good learning experience for her. We are not allowed to take pics or video because it is in the chapel of the church so these are pics before the recital.

Family Fun Run
Autam and Steve participated in a family fun run this year that was put on by her school. It was a 3K and then a 1K after that. Autam wanted to do them both. She did not win but finished both without walking. I was really impressed! I would have loved to do it with her but I look like This....
This is me at about 35 weeks. Yes! Only 5 more weeks!
I am getting excited for baby girl #3 to arrive. We have decided on a name, either Macy, Macie, or Masie. Yes I know they are all the same name, just trying to figure out how to spell it!
I (with Steves help) have been trying to put together a room for her and get our yard cleaned up before it gets to hot. Steve is keeping busy with his job and will go to Denver AGAIN next week. I am not looking forward to that but will be glad when all of his traveling pays off. We are expecting to move to Denver soon, just waiting for the go ahead from who ever at the company he works for.
Autam is keeping busy with school and piano and now has started a beginning Ballet class that is taught by a Young Women in our ward. She really enjoys it!
Lauryn is my little shadow all day at home, and I love it! When Steve and Autam leave in the morning she says "Its just me and you again, Mom." I love that little thing.

2011
Well 2011 has started with a bang! Time is flying....I cannot believe that it is February all ready. I am having a baby in eight, yes eight, weeks. My babies are usually a little late so I am not to the panic point...yet!
Steve is busy with work; going out of town at least once a month for about seven days at a time. It is getting a little old but will hopefully pay off in a little while.
He is really enjoying his job right now as it is keeping him very busy.
I am trying to keep up with all the mom stuff and having a very busy calling in the YW program.
Autam is doing well in school. Riding the bus is her favorite part of the day! She is also doing so well at her piano lessons. She is very strong willed and does not like me to help her but figures it out on her own. I am learning a little to which is wonderful.
Lauryn is such a joy to have home with me during the day. She is my little helper. We have started reading lessons and I can tell she is going to excel in reading just like her sister. She is a little sick right now with a fever and a cough. It breaks my heart to see my kiddos sick.
We have decided on a name for our new edition "Macie Lynn" all as a first name. I am sure it will get shortened to Macie but her first name is both. She is so active, sometimes it is uncomfortable. I have tried to stay active with this pregnancy and can tell it has helped with some of the back problems I get while pregnant. I go to the Doc next Wednesday for the final ultrasound...very exciting!

Christmas Eve 2011
I feel so blessed today and do not want to let the day go by without putting down how I feel.
Since the day Steve and I were married we have been so blessed by our Heavenly Father. When Christmas time rolls around is when I feel this the most. We always have the best time lounging around the house on special days like this. It started out a little rough; we were all up at 7am. We never get to sleep in around here, it is something we, I mean, I have gotten used to. I needed to go to the grocery store but wanted to beat the rush so it was a good thing I was up so early. Lauryn and I made it to the store where I dropped 70 dollars for 4 bags of grocery's!! This was the first moment of the day that I felt blessed. We have always had more that enough nutritional food around our house.
After the store Steve took Autam to the Mall to do some last minute shopping, where, Autam told me, "He was loosing patients". Go figure....After that I let Steve take a nap and the girls and I made gingerbread dough and then sat at the table reading and talking. I like days like this because I try to make a point of having the house some what clean so that we can just sit around and enjoy each other.
When Steve woke up I spent the rest of the afternoon preparing our Christmas eve dinner. It was simple and delicious. After dinner we checked to see where Santa was and then had our Christmas Eve lesson. We did a little something different this year; we gave a gift to Jesus. We wrote down on little pieces of paper what it is we could give Jesus this year and then put them in a box, wrapped it, and set it on the mantel. This box is supposed to be visible all year long to remind us of the gift that we are giving all year. I am hoping it is a tradition that will stick.
The girls then got to open there Christmas pj's from their Uncle Mike and Aunt Amanda. They could not have been more happy, Autam got Hannah Montana and Lauryn got princess ones. We watched a little of the movie The Santa Clause and then put them to bed. Steve is a little sick and went to bed when the girls did so now it is just me up who gets to stay up and play Santa! This night is also a first for us all; it is raining here and we have heard thunder all night!
We had the most simple, ordinary day but it was as perfect as could be.....
